Shortly before the desert capital Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to visit the famous Kasbah Aït-Ben-Haddou, the fortified clay city with its numerous ksars and kasbahs, where several famous movies such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Prince of Persia have been shot. After crossing the Anti-Atlas, you arrive at the green and peaceful Draa Valley which is famous for its huge date groves and henna fields. Now it is time for the desert! Zagora is the last city before the real wilderness starts. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your camel driver and head to the desert on top of your friendly camel while the sun sinks below the horizon. Just before dark, you will arrive at the Sahara Desert Camp where you can settle in your private tent. A traditional dinner is served and you can spend the night watching for shooting stars or dance around the campfire to the beat of the desert drums.
