We have curated the perfect Colombian getaway with all of the highlights of the incredible city of Cartagena.
Please note this is a sample itinerary and your actual itinerary would be adjusted based on your selected activities, dates of travel and of course your travel style!
Day 1
AIRPORT PICK-UP + WELCOME DINNER
You will arrive at Cartagena airport and private transportation will take you to your accommodation. Get relaxed and start to enjoy “Cartagena, la fantastic”
At night, you will enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 2
PALANQUE CULTURAL OR COLOMBIAN COOKING CLASS
Choose between Palanque Cultural Experience with Lunch
You will have the chance to explore the first free black town in the whole of America and connect with this little piece of Africa in Colombia. It’s located around 45 – 60 minutes from the city.
During this trip, enjoy a typical Palenquero lunch.
Or Colombian Cooking Class. In this workshop, you will spend an amazing time where you will roll up your sleeves and will learn how to prepare some authentic local dishes.
In the end, you will sit down, have a glass of wine/beer and enjoy the delicious food your prepared.
Day 3
WALKING TOUR WITH STREET FOOD AND PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT
In the afternoon, discover the hidden stories in every corner of this city with a 2-hours walking tour where you will learn more about our black and indigenous legacy at the time that you taste the flavors of the Caribbean and capture unforgettable moments with a professional photoshoot.

Day 4
SUNSET WATER SPORTS + DINNER
After enjoying the first part of this day on your own, your driver will pick you up around 4:00 pm. Swing a bit and then, feel free to take 30 minutes of a jet ski. Let the speed, the water, the sun, and the motor noise set you free from all your worries!
After that, when the sun goes down and you appreciate the golden tons of the sunset, you will take one hour of lightning paddle boards to take the most hallucinating pictures you have ever taken! Just relax and be one with the sweet movements of the Caribbean.
Once you finish, enjoy one of the delicious plates from the club’s menu.
Day 5
CHECK OUT AND GOODBYES
Time to say goodbye. We hope by this moment you feel this was your best trip ever.

Important things to note
- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the villa that best suits your taste.
- You must have a passport to travel to Colombia – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page.
- The best months to visit Cartagena are December through to September. The primary months to avoid would be October and November, accommodation is greatly reduced due to the warm showers of the rainy season .
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
