Day 1
Welcome to Arenal!
Upon clearing immigration and customs at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to your private transfer.
As you journey to your hotel, you’ll receive a brief introduction to Costa Rica, along with helpful travel tips, local insights, and recommendations to help you make the most of your unforgettable adventure.
Day 2
Combo Tour: Hanging Bridges, Volcano Walk, La Fortuna Waterfall
Begin your day with an unforgettable walk across the Arenal Hanging Bridges, where you’ll experience the rainforest from high above the forest floor. Stroll through the lush jungle canopy while taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding rainforest, mountains, and abundant wildlife that call this incredible ecosystem home.
Next, continue to Arenal Volcano National Park, where you’ll enjoy a guided walk along scenic trails while learning about the area’s fascinating volcanic history, unique flora, and diverse fauna.
Afterward, savor a delicious local lunch before heading to the spectacular La Fortuna Waterfall. Descend to the base of this magnificent cascade, where you’ll have plenty of time to capture stunning photos, admire the breathtaking scenery, and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of one of Arenal’s most iconic natural attractions.

Day 3
Arenal Canopy Adventure & Rappelling
Experience an exhilarating aerial adventure spanning approximately 3 kilometers through the lush Costa Rican rainforest. Glide along a series of zip lines connected by 14 platforms, five of which are built into magnificent towering trees. Strategically positioned at varying heights, each platform offers a unique perspective of the rainforest canopy, providing spectacular panoramic views and incredible opportunities to observe the surrounding wildlife and capture breathtaking photographs of Arenal’s stunning natural landscape.

Day 4
ATV Adventure and Entrance to Resort / Dinner included
Embark on an exciting ATV adventure through the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Arenal Volcano. Navigate a variety of scenic trails featuring rocky terrain, gravel paths, dirt roads, muddy tracks, and open pastures as you explore the volcano’s picturesque foothills.
Weather permitting, you’ll make a stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire panoramic views of La Fortuna and the majestic Arenal Volcano, before continuing your ride toward the Arenal River.
After your adrenaline-filled adventure, unwind at one of Arenal’s world-renowned natural hot springs. Relax in the soothing thermal pools and cascading hot river surrounded by lush tropical scenery, offering the perfect setting to rejuvenate both body and mind. Complete your experience with a delicious dinner before returning to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 5
Goodbye Costa Rica!
Snap some last pictures of your beautiful vacation in Costa Rica. Say your goodbyes, checkout & await your private transfer back to the airport to take you back home

You can travel whenever you choose! Just find the flight and the time of the year that works for you and we will make it happen. You can change your dates up until your accommodations have been confirmed as booked. After this, any changes may incur a fee.
Your international flight should arrive in Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).
We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you’d need to fly into/out of to reach the destination.
Prices are based on double occupancy - This means you will be traveling with a friend or family. If you are traveling solo there is an additional one time fee of $1100.

- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- The best time to visit Arenal is between September and October.
- US nationals do not require an entry visa to Costa Rica. However, they must have a current valid passport and a return ticket to exit Costa Rica within 90 days.
- Costa Rica is a high-activity destination offering thrilling outdoor adventures like hiking, zip-lining, and more. Many activities are physically intense, so visitors should be prepared to stay active and embrace the challenges. If you’re ready for an adrenaline-packed experience, Costa Rica is the perfect place to be!
- Your flight will land at Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). Please note that the drive from the airport to Arenal takes approximately 4 hours.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
