We have curated the perfect Costa Rica getaway with all of the highlights of Arenal.
Please note this is a sample itinerary and your actual itinerary would be adjusted based on your selected activities, dates of travel and of course your travel style!
Day 1
Welcome to Arenal!
Right after you go through immigration and customs Our representative will meet you at the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) exit to load the luggage into the vehicle and transfer you to the hotel. During the drive, you will receive a brief introduction to Costa Rica and some recommendations for your trip.
By night, enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Day 2
Arenal Canopy Adventure & Rappelling
Enjoy the aerial adventure of approximately 3 kilometers. Each of the 14 platforms, 5 of which are constructed in extraordinary trees, were strategically designed at varying heights to allow the clients to observe the rainforest from different angles and photograph the awe-inspiring scenery.
Day 3
Combo: Hanging Bridges, Volcano Walk, La Fortuna Waterfall / Lunch included
Start the day by walking the Arenal hanging bridges and see the jungle from high above the forest floor which allows you to see the jungle and its inhabitants, as well as allowing you to see breathtaking views of the jungle and mountains. After your adventure on the hanging bridges, you will head to Arenal Volcano National Park. The trails are perfect for a quiet and informative guided walk. Enjoy a delicious lunch at this point. You will end the day at the impressive La Fortuna waterfall. When you reach the bottom, you will have the opportunity to take lots of pictures and swim in the cool waters of one of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in Arenal.
Day 4
ATV Adventure and Entrance to Resort / Dinner included
You will ride an ATV through fun trails with diverse conditions as rock bottom, gravel, dirt or muddy roads, bump tracks, and pastures on the volcano base slopes. If the weather allows favorable visibility conditions, we make a short stop to appreciate the spectacular view of La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano before we head to the Arenal River. After the ATVs, enjoy the Hot Springs, a truly luxurious, world-renowned resort. This natural hot spring resort features a hot river that flows through a series of pools and tributaries. After some time enjoying the thermal pools and feasting on dinner, you will be back at the hotel.
Day 5
Goodbye Costa Rica!
Snap some last pictures of your beautiful vacation in Costa Rica. Say your goodbyes, checkout & await your private transfer back to the airport to take you back home

The payment towards your Costa Rica trip can be paid out monthly or in full. We provide flexible payment plans for all travelers, all payments must be completed no later than one month before your scheduled arrival date.

Prices are based on double occupancy – this means you will be sharing with your partner or with a friend. If you are traveling solo there is an additional one time single occupancy fee of $1,415 which can be paid up to 2 months before your trip.

Important things to note
- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- The best time to visit Arenal is between September and October.
- US nationals do not require an entry visa to Costa Rica. However, they must have a current valid passport and a return ticket to exit Costa Rica within 90 days.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
