Day 1
Welcome to Cusco
Your trip starts in the historic city of Cusco! Enjoy a warm cup of cocoa tea to help you get acclimatized to the high altitude which is a staggering 11,200 feet (3,400 meters) above sea level.
Take the afternoon to explore the city of Cusco.
Check in at your hotel starts at 2pm.
Day 2
Explore the Sacred Valley on an ATV Adventure
Today you will head from Cusco to the community of Cruzpata in the heart of the sacred valley of the Incas for an ATV adventure.
After few minutes of training you will be ready to get dirty! Begin your passion for adventure on the unpaved road, drive around the Terraces of Moray, the Inca centre of Agricultural experimentation. Then head to the town of Maras from where you can see the Urubamba mountain range and the snowy mountains Veronica and Chicon.
You will also visit Salines Maras, an incredible sight of salt mines which are a must see in Peru.
Day 3
Iconic Machu Picchu by Train: Explore the Inca Wonder with Lunch Included
Get ready for an early start and a once-in-a-lifetime journey! You’ll take a train from Cusco to Machu Picchu Pueblo and then a bus to the iconic Machu Picchu, the ancient Inca citadel and UNESCO World Heritage site. With your private guide, explore the stunning ruins and learn about Incan history. After the guided tour, enjoy time to explore on your own and stamp your passport as a memento.
Later, savor lunch in Aguas Calientes and spend the afternoon shopping before returning to Cusco by train and bus.

Make the Day Your Own
Choose your preferred activities to enjoy at your own pace today.
Day 5
Check out and goodbyes
Spend your last day doing some last minute shopping before checking out of your hotel and heading back home.

The payment towards your Peru trip can be paid out monthly or in full. We provide flexible payment plans for all travelers, all payments must be completed no later than one month before your scheduled arrival date.

Prices are based on double occupancy – this means you will be sharing with your partner or with a friend. If you are traveling solo there is an additional one time single occupancy fee of $400 which can be paid up to 2 months before your trip.

Important things to note
- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- You must have a passport to travel to Peru – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page
- This is a more active trip – perfect for travelers looking for an adventure!
- Peru’s rainy season runs from December – March
- Nothing compulsory, we recommend protection against typhoid, tetanus, polio and hepatitis A. Please consult your travel clinic for the latest advice on Malaria, Dengue and Zika Virus. Please take preventative measures to avoid mosquito bites – these include mosquito repellent as well as long trousers and long sleeve shirts to cover up when necessary.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation Policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
