Day 1
Welcome to Lisbon!
You will arrive at Lisbon international airport and private transportation will take you to your luxury hotel where you can rest and relax.
Get ready for the second day of discovering and adventure.
Day 2
Tuk Tuk Ride & Fado Night
You will enjoy this 4h-ride tuk-tuk tour throughout the city of Lisbon from 3pm.
With its narrow and steep streets, the city center of Lisbon is not the easiest one to navigate so taking a tour in an eco Tuk Tuk is a great and fun option.
Start your Lisbon tour of this whimsical city by joining a local guide in Martim Moniz, just in front of the Hotel Mundial. This famous landmark commemorates the restoration of Portugal’s independence back in 1640 and is an apt starting point for this tour through Lisbon’s musical and culinary heritage. Visit the heart of Fado heritage from the old district of Mouraria. Try a sip of Ginjinha, Lisbon’s trademark liqueur while listening Fado at a local Tavern. Take in sweeping views to admire the Sunset of this intoxicating city from the viewpoints of the Castle Hills, some of the city’s best-kept secrets. Next, travel deep into the soul of Lisbon while exploring the Alfama neighborhood. This is the oldest quarter in the city, dating back to the Moorish occupation of Lisbon. Explore Alfama’s small squares, rustic buildings and dark alleyways as you wander along the winding, cobblestone streets. Stop to breathe in the exciting atmosphere as the local taverns and music venues come to life for another evening of melodic tunes and gastronomic delights.
Day 3
Sintra, Cascais & Estoril
Sintra is a magical place where man and nature blend perfectly. Wander through Pena Park with its diverse plants, secret trails, and the romantic 19th-century, Pena National Palace. Enjoy stunning views over the Moorish castle from the mountaintop. In the old town, savor Travesseiro and Queijada pastries and optionally visit the National Palace. Drive through Sintra Natural Park, stopping for photos at Roca Cape cliffs, the westernmost point of Continental Europe. See the waves at Guincho Beach, popular with surfers. Take a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast to Cascais. Enjoy free time for lunch, a bay walk, or the beach. This area, a first for Portuguese tourism, housed early 20th-century summer homes for the rich. Return to Lisbon via Estoril and its Casino.
Day 4
Lisbon to Porto
Your driver will take you to Lisbon’s Oriente Train Station where you will catch your train to Porto. A driver will be waiting for you at the train station and will drive you to the hotel in Porto.
Day 5
Discover Porto
Come join us on a walking tour through the streets of the historical centre of Porto (classified as World Heritage Site since 1996 by UNESCO). We invite you to discover this city where the old houses perch over the river like they’re huddling together. Enjoy the old palaces, the robust churches, the most emblematic neighborhoods, the people of Porto and the most picturesque corners that the city has to offer.
Rest of the day is free.
Day 6
Day Cruise in Douro River
Enjoy the unique beauty of the River Douro with a fantastic cruise aboard a traditional rabelo boat, on this cruise we will venture upstream to Régua. This tour departs from the quay in Ribeira and follows the river upstream with Régua as the final destination. On our way you will get the chance to pass by the Crestuma and the Carrapatelo dams. On the journey we will serve breakfast, a Port aperitif and lunch. The return trip is done by train, on an amazing route that allows you to see the Douro from another perspective as the train snakes along the river bank.
Day 7
Goodbye Portugal!
After check-out, your private driver will take you to Porto International Airport and you will fly back home.

- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- Travelers require a passport valid for at least 3 months after the traveler exits Portugal
- You don’t need a visa for Portugal if you have a United States passport.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
