We created Wellness, Ventures & Vibes for the Black woman who needs both!
Set in the spacious beauty of Bali, this luxury business and wellness retreat is for high-achieving Black women who have recently left corporate or are preparing to leave to build a business of their own.
You have the ideas, experience, taste, ambition, and several business plans quietly waiting for their time to come. At the same time you also feel overwhelmed by where to start, what to focus on next, or how to move with consistency and confidence.
We know this transition because we have lived it.
Both of us have navigated our way out of traditional corporate spaces and high six-figure careers into building our own businesses, both individually and together. We know what it takes to make that shift, and we want to share how to do it.
Because building a business while healing your nervous system takes a village, this retreat welcomes you into building that village with us!
For Black women, community has always been one of our greatest resources. Right now, we need more than inspiration. We need clarity, momentum, accountability, and rooms where we can be our brilliant, real selves.
Over the course of the retreat, you won’t just have the play and rest your nervous system needs, although that is very necessary! You will also come away with clear, practical outputs.
We’ll help you refine your business idea, clarify your business model, map your next steps, build a practical launch roadmap, develop your personal brand blueprint, strengthen your LinkedIn positioning, explore how to use AI strategically, and leave with clear foundations for the stage of business you are in.

Meet Your Hosts
Eniola and Obsidian are founders, strategists, coaches, and professional pivoters who know what it means to leave traditional career paths and build something of your own, with intention.
Together, they bring a mix of community building, operations, financial finesse and lived experience to this retreat. They have both navigated the shift from corporate and institutional spaces into entrepreneurship, and they created this experience to help other high-achieving Black women make that transition with more clarity, support, structure, and joy.
Eniola is the founder of UX Outloud – a community of more than 25,000 people, as well as a business coach, LinkedIn influencer, and 2x founder. Her career has taken her through major organizations including Meta, Silicon Valley Bank, and Kaiser, and countries all over the world. She brings deep research expertise, years of coaching experience, and an instinct for helping people understand themselves, their audience, and the opportunities sitting right in front of them.
Obsidian is a business strategist, fractional operator, runaway investment banker, opinion columnist, and 2x founder across the creative and finance industries. Alongside building UX Outloud, they founded The Influence Index, a company at the intersection of media, technology, data, and investment. Obsidian has years of experience across Rothschild, Tellimer, gal-dem, and PinkNews, which they leverage in their work as a fractional operator for several startups, and angel investment in companies including Ruka Hair and Black Ballad. Their work brings together strategy, storytelling, capital, culture, and a deep understanding of how ideas become strategic thinking that can be actioned.
What brings Eniola and Obsidian together is a shared belief that Black women deserve better rooms to build in. Rooms where ambition is more than hustle culture, rest is play, and strategy that centres our lived experiences. They are passionate about this retreat because they know how powerful it can be when Black women have the right mix of space, structure, mentorship, friendship, and momentum.

Once we receive your deposit, you will have access to all of your trip details and to our group chat – leading up to departure and will have a chance to get to know the people you will be traveling with a bit more and we will keep you updated with important notifications, updates and more

This trip is for the girls!
Either or! The great thing about these travel meet-ups is that it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded travelers and make new friendships. More than 90% of our guests are coming solo and a few are bringing a bestie or two!
We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you’d need to fly into/out of to reach the destination.
Your flight should arrive and depart from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, where you will be welcomed by one of our representatives holding a signboard written "Luxe Tribes".
Check-in is at 2 p.m. on the first day of your trip, if you are arriving later on in the day, that is completely fine. Check-out is at 11 a.m. on the last day of the trip, you’ll be able to keep your luggage at the hotel if your flight is later in the day on the day of check out, but everyone must check out by 11am.
We will be staying in Luxury Private Villas in Ubud, Bali and each guest will have their own private ensuite room.
