We have curated the perfect December Ghana getaway with all of the highlights of Accra & Cape Coast.
Please note this is a sample itinerary and your actual itinerary would be adjusted based on your selected activities, dates of travel and of course your travel style!
Day 1
ARRIVAL IN ACCRA
The driver will be ready and waiting for you at the airport.
Your private transportation will take you to your hotel.
Check in.
Proceed for welcome dinner (drinks at your own expense).
Overnight at your hotel in Accra.
Day 2
ACCRA CITY TOUR, LOCAL LUNCH EXPERIENCE & WEB DUBOIS CENTER
Breakfast will be served at your hotel.
The Accra city tour will give you the opportunity to experience the beauty, historic monuments, and the
great cultural heritage the city has to offer.
Thereafter proceed to Independence Square, Black Star Square, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.
Local Lunch included
Visit WEB Dubois Centre. The center consists of the museum which contains memorabilia and his personal
library, the Open Air Theatre where intellectual seminars, lectures and workshops are held along with
cultural events. In addition is the ‘Marcus Garvey’ guest
house.
Transfer back to your hotel.
Day 3
AFROFUTURE
Breakfast will be served.
Afrofuture
Proceed to Afrofuture with VIP Entrance. Experience a celebration Of Africa’s Diverse Culture,Music and the vibrant work of African Creatives & Entrepreneurs.
Day 4
ROADS TO HERITAGE – CAPE COAST
You will be picked at 0600hrs and depart for Cape Coast with packed breakfast.
Visit Kakum National Park (Canopy walk experience)
Visit Cape Coast Castle & Elimina Castle.
Proceed for lunch
Drive back to Accra. Overnight.
Day 5

Important things to note
- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- The best time to visit Ghana is between November – March, when there is little to no rainfall, and every part of the country is easily accessible. Between April and October, the weather in Ghana is rather wet, restricting the ability to travel. Many places might close down for the low-season as well.
- Visa: Visitors to Ghana, including US, Canadian and UK citizens, must obtain a visa from one of the Ghanaian diplomatic missions unless you come from one of the countries or territories that are either visa exempt or whose citizens may obtain a visa on arrival.
- Visa on arrival: Citizens of the African Union member states (except Morocco) that are not visa exempt can obtain a 30 days maximum visa for Ghana upon arrival for fee $150.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
