Day 1
Arrival!
On arrival in Colombo you will be met by one of our representatives and then driven into Sigiriya for first two nights. In the afternoon, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, dating back to the 1st century. There you will find different sizes of Buddha statues along with a beautiful art gallery on the ceiling. Welcome dinner and overnight at Aliya Resort & Spa, Sigiriya
Day 2
Into the wild!
This morning you are heading to Minneriya National Park for a half-day Jeep Safari with a private photographer. Minneriya is home to the world-famous Elephant Gathering, which happens between August and September. Although hundreds of Elephants reside here all year round, so you are sure not to be disappointed!

Day 3
Sigiriya Rock and Triconmalee
In the morning you will visit a sacred rock in Sigiriya before afternoon departure for the east coast. Get ready for a little jungle hike!

Day 4
Whale Watching
Today in the morning – whale watching or snorkeling tour! In the afternoon relax and take a dip in the pool! Enjoy the sunshine or explore the activities around your property.

Relax by the ocean and spa experience!
Today in the morning relax and unwind during a special massage experience at your resort.

Day 6
Kandy
This morning you will drive to Kandy, en-route visit a handycraft center and a spice garden. In the afternoon explore Kandy taking in the famous Temple of the Tooth. The golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth houses Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha. During puja (offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room housing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists.
Overnight at Mahaweli Reach.
Day 7
Botanic gardens, tea factory and Colombo
This morning you will visit spectacular Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. These stunning gardens were once reserved exclusively for Kandyan royalty. Today, even commoners are allowed in to enjoy the most impressive and largest (60 hectares) botanic gardens in Sri Lanka. After completion of the visit, drive to Colombo. En-route visit Geragama Tea Factory. Overnight at Jetwing Colombo Seven.
Day 8
Check out & Goodbyes
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Colombo, with some free time to snap your last beautiful moments of your vacation before your flight. After check out, you’ll be transferred to the airport for final departure.

- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- U.S. citizen tourists entering Sri Lanka require a tourist visa (online application). We strongly recommend that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your arrival in Sri Lanka to avoid possible denied entry.
- Best Time to Travel is between May – October
If something goes wrong
Cancellation Policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
