Day 1
Welcome to Atacama!
You will arrive at Calama Airport and a private transportation will take you to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, where you can rest and relax. Take your time to get acclimatised and to explore the village.
Day 2
Valle de La Luna & Rainbow Valley
Discover the magic of Atacama’s most stunning landscapes! Immerse yourself in the surreal beauty of the Valley of the Moon, where millennia of wind and erosion have sculpted imposing rock formations that seem taken from another planet. As the sun sets, watch the landscape transform with changing colors and shadows, creating an unforgettable spectacle. - We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- A valid U.S. passport is required to travel to Chile.
- U.S. citizens do not need a visa if they are traveling to Chile for tourism, business, transit, artistic or sport activities, with no intention of establishing residence.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
