Day 1
Welcome to Chiang Mai
You will arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport, and private transportation will take you to your luxury hotel, where you can rest and relax . Evening free
Day 2
Chiang Mai temples tour
Hike in Doi Inthanon National Park, visit a Karen village and a Hmong Market, and see the Twin (King and Queen) Pagodas with this small-group tour from Chiang Mai. You’ll explore with a local guide and a small group of fellow travelers, making stops to take in views, visit a market, check out waterfalls, and dine on an included lunch of Thai fare. Finish the tour with a massage
Day 3
Thai cooking class or Evening Food and Market Tour
Learn to cook an authentic Thai meal with a cooking class Shop for ingredients at a local market, then roll up your sleeves to cook a meal of classic Thai dishes. Day 4
Yi Peng Lantern Festival
Yi Peng falls on the full moon of the second month of the Lanna calendar, usually in November. The exact dates change each year, but the festival typically lasts for three days. The main lantern releases happen on the second day. Morning: Explore Warorot Market for souvenirs and local products. Afternoon: Prepare for the Yi Peng Lantern Festival. Evening: Attend the Yi Peng Lantern Festival and release your lanterns into the sky.
Day 5
Loy Krathong Festival
Morning: Visit Wat Suan Dok and make merit. Afternoon: Prepare for the Loy Krathong Festival, where you will float lanterns on the water. Evening: Participate in the Loy Krathong Festival along the Ping River.
Day 6
Unique experience in an elephant sanctuary & KhanToke Dinner
After breakfast, you will be picked up and driven to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, located within a picturesque jungle, where locals and veterinaries care for rescued elephants. Spend the day observing, touching, and feeding the elephants, and don’t be scared of getting muddy! You will have the chance to interact and learn their stories throughout the day. A delicious homemade Thai lunch will be served for you to enjoy in this peaceful environment. KhanToke Dinner (Northern Style Dinner with Dance) Khantok is a pedestal tray used as a small dining table by the Lanna people. Upon entering the restaurant, you will need to remove your shoes. The flooring has gaps between the wood planks, so high heel shoes with narrow heels are not recommended. Once inside, you will be seated at a long table, with cushions where you can sit on the floor, and a recessed area below floor level for your legs.
Day 7
Day trip to Chaing Rai
Visit the magnificent temples of Chiang Rai on a full-day, private-tour from Chiang Mai to a series of iconic Buddhist sites. Enjoy the flexibility of a private driver/guide throughout the day as you visit Wat Sang Kaew Photiyarn, Wat Rong Khun, Wat Huai Pla Kung, and more, with a break for lunch in a local restaurant. This 13-hour temple tour from Chiang Mai includes pickup and drop-off at city hotels, lunch, and entrance fees, and it’s a fun, personal way to explore the sites of northern Thailand.
Day 8
Check out & Goodbyes
Snap some last pictures of your beautiful vacation in Chiang Mai. Say your goodbyes and await your private transfer back to the airport.

- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- You must be fully vaccinated to visit Thailand
- You must have a passport to travel to Thailand – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page
- Thailand’s rainy season runs from June to October
- When selecting flights be sure to allow for 1-2 days before your scheduled arrival date as most flights to Thailand take anywhere from 15+ hours if you are traveling from the U.S and other similar territories.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation Policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
