Day 1
Welcome to Hong Kong!
Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), a world-class gateway to one of Asia’s most dynamic cities. After clearing customs, you’ll be met by your driver for a smooth private transfer to your luxury hotel, perfectly situated amidst the city’s skyline and harbor views.
Take time to rest and settle in — whether by enjoying the hotel’s tranquil pool, indulging in a spa treatment, or simply relaxing in your suite. The adventure begins tomorrow, but tonight is all about easing into the rhythm of cosmopolitan Hong Kong.
Day 2
Explore Hong Kong
Dive right into Hong Kong’s financial and commercial heart of Central, and weave amongst the skyscrapers to the trendy yet traditional Sheung Wan. This tour is an insider’s guide to the melting pot of old and new that has made Hong Kong world famous. Included:
- Victoria Peak Tram Ride & Sky Terrace 428 Access
- Leaving Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon, you will catch the iconic Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour

Day 3
Lantau Island Day Trip
Today, set off on a shared tour to Lantau Island, Hong Kong’s largest and most serene outlying island — nearly twice the size of Hong Kong Island. Famed for its unspoiled landscapes, rolling hills, and lush green valleys, Lantau offers a peaceful escape from the city’s urban energy.
Begin with the scenic Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride, a breathtaking journey offering panoramic views of the South China Sea, mountains, and the Tian Tan Buddha in the distance.
Once you arrive at the Ngong Ping Village, continue with a guided visit to the majestic Big Buddha (Tian Tan Buddha) — one of Hong Kong’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of peace and enlightenment.
Please note: This is a join-in tour, and you’ll be exploring alongside a small group of fellow travelers.
Day 4
Travel to Taiwan – Exploring Taipei
- Morning: Flight from Hong Kong to Taipei (about 2 hours).
Afternoon: City tour
Immerse yourself in scenic Northern Taiwan on this private half-day tour from Taipei. You’ll get to see the Golden Waterfall and Jinguashi 13 Ruins, make a wish with a sky lantern over Pingxi, and explore the streets of historical Jiufen. This charming and historic street is the inspiration of Miyazaki’s “Spirited Away,” as well as the setting for several beloved Taiwanese films. Finally, head to Shifen Old Street, known for delicious local foods, souvenir shops, and puffing railroad trains. Included:
- Private, air-conditioned transportation
- Experience a traditional lantern activity over Pingxi
- Sightsee along the historic streets of Jiufen
Day 5
Full Day Private Northern Taiwan from Taipei Tour
Discover the beauty and culture of Taipei’s northeast coast on this private tour to its most iconic landmarks. Create a Chinese lantern (天燈) in historic Shifen, and write a wish up on it before releasing it. Sample local foods in Shifen as you stroll down an old cobblestone street. Finally, visit Yehliu Geopark, featuring an alien landscape of unique rock formations. This is an active tour, wear comfortable shoes for walking. In case of bad traffic or weather, the itinerary may change. Included:
- Explore Taipei’s enigmatic northeastern coast
- Sample the tasty local foods of Shifen
- Release a Chinese lantern into the sky
- Explore the bizarre terrain of Yehliu Geopark
Day 6
Check out & Goodbye
As your incredible journey through Hong Kong and Taiwan comes to an end, take a moment to capture a few final photos — whether it’s the skyline, the lantern-lit streets, or a quiet morning view that takes your breath away. These are the memories you’ll carry with you long after your travels.
With hearts full and luggage packed, it’s time to say your goodbyes to this vibrant corner of Asia. A private transfer will be arranged to take you comfortably back to the airport, where your journey home begins.

Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
