Day 1
Welcome to Rio!
Upon landing at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, our chauffeur will whisk you away to your upscale hotel. Take the evening to settle in and prepare for the adventures ahead. You will enjoy your welcome dinner in a traditional Brazilian churrascaria.
Day 2
Jeep Tour & Carnival
In the morning, embark on a thrilling Jeep tour through the lush Tijuca Rainforest, the world’s largest urban forest. Discover hidden waterfalls, diverse wildlife, and visit the Botanic Garden for a serene escape from the city buzz. In the evening, immerse yourself in the spirit of Carnival with VIP tickets to a dazzling parade. Experience the vibrant costumes, electrifying music, and the sheer joy of this world-largest celebration.
Day 3
Helicopter ride
You will have the free morning to rest. In the afternoon you will be taken to Barra da Tijuca to fly in a helicopter over the Wonderful City. Marvel at the stunning aerial views of famous beaches, mountains, and landmarks. Free evening to explore Rio on your own terms.
Day 4
Christ, Sugar Loaf, and Samba!
After breakfast, you will be taken to visit the Christ & Sugar Loaf. Then you will have a lunch in traditional restaurant. In the evening you will join a Samba group class and will be taken to a very special Samba venue in central Rio.
Day 5
Favela tour & Farewell dinner
Head out on a 3-Hour Rocinha Favela Walking Tour which aims to educate you about life in a Favela which is such a big part of the culture of Rio de Janeiro. In addition to that, see how residents live and learn about the difficulties of Rocinha – the largest Favela in Latin America. Our local guides have over 20 years of experience. You will have a free afternoon and in the evening we will take you to your farewell dinner.
Day 6
Goodbye Rio!
After breakfast and check out, a private transfer will take you to the airport. Time to say goodbye!

The payment towards your Rio’s Carnival Special Getaway trip can be paid out monthly or in full. We provide flexible payment plans for all travelers, all payments must be completed no later than one month before your scheduled arrival date.

Prices are based on double occupancy – this means you will be sharing with your partner or with a friend. If you are traveling solo there is an additional one time single occupancy which can be paid up to 2 months before your trip.

- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- The best time to visit Rio is between December and March, when the weather is warm and sunny enough to hit the beaches. The city’s seductive samba beat and incredible panoramic views last year-round, but arrive in February to experience Carnival.
- A valid U.S. passport is required to travel to Brazil.
- U.S. citizens do not need a visa if they are traveling to Brazil for tourism, business, transit, artistic or sport activities, with no intention of establishing residence. – If the adult traveler is a U.S. citizen and fully vaccinated, then the traveler must provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status and proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three calendar days of traveling or documentation of recovery in the past 90 days.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
