Day 1
Welcome to Japan

You will arrive at Osaka International Airport and a private transfer will take you to your accommodation in the heart of Kyoto. You are free for the rest of the day. Relax at the hotel or start exploring the city independently.

Day 2
Kyoto Unveiled: Heritage Streets and Culinary Traditions

Step back in time through Kyoto’s enchanting ancient districts. Wander along preserved medieval streets lined with traditional wooden machiya houses, visit centuries-old temples, and explore hidden alleyways that breathe with the spirit of old Japan. Sacred Ascent to Mt. Koya

Back to Kyoto

You can travel whenever you choose! Just find the flight and the time of the year that works for you and we will make it happen. You can change your dates up until your accommodations have been confirmed as booked. After this, any changes may incur a fee.
You will arrive and depart from Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX)
We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you’d need to fly into/out of to reach the destination.
Prices are based on double occupancy - This means you will be traveling with a friend or family. If you are traveling solo or if you would like to book a single room please reach out to barbara@luxetribes.com

Important things to note

  • We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
  • Currently, the US passport holders do not need a visa.
  • A Valid Passport is required to travel to Japan.

If something goes wrong

Cancellation policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
  • If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
  • Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
