Day 1
Welcome to Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and privately transferred to your luxury hotel in Nairobi, where you can settle in and unwind after your journey.
In the evening, depart for dinner to a renowned Ranch Restaurant. Indulge in an all-you-can-eat feast of expertly prepared game meats while enjoying a vibrant performance of music, dance, and acrobatics that celebrates African culture.
Day 2
Nairobi City Tour
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out for a memorable day exploring Nairobi’s remarkable wildlife, culture, and local heritage.
At 10:00 AM, visit the renowned David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Nursery, located within Nairobi National Park. This inspiring conservation center provides a safe haven for orphaned baby elephants, where you will witness their care and rehabilitation journey before their eventual return to the wild.
Continue to the Giraffe Centre for an unforgettable up-close encounter with the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Learn about ongoing conservation efforts while feeding and interacting with these gentle giants.
Afterward, enjoy lunch at a popular local restaurant (own expense), offering fresh flavors and a relaxed setting.
Your journey continues to Kobe Tough Beads, a community-run initiative that empowers local women through handmade beadwork and crafts. You will also stop at a souvenir shop to browse locally made gifts and keepsakes.
Conclude the excursion with a visit to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre rooftop, where sweeping panoramic views offer a stunning perspective of Nairobi’s skyline.
Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Day 3
Welcome to Maasai Mara
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Wilson Airport for your scenic flight to the legendary Maasai Mara. As you soar above the landscape, take in breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s sweeping rural countryside.
Upon arrival at Musiara or Olkiombo Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your safari camp in time for lunch. After settling in, experience a cultural welcome with a visit to a Maasai village, where you will gain insight into traditional customs, heritage, and daily life.
Day 4
Safari Adventure
Begin your day with an early morning sunrise game drive, when the Maasai Mara awakens and wildlife is at its most active. Return to camp for a hot lunch or enjoy a scenic picnic surrounded by the beauty of the reserve.
In the afternoon, set out once more as the Mara reveals its most dramatic moments. Your safari may conclude with classic sundowners overlooking the endless plains — a perfect way to absorb the magic of the landscape.
Expect unforgettable wildlife encounters in the breathtaking Maasai Mara Reserve, home to the legendary Big Five and an extraordinary diversity of wildlife.
Day 5
Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Savor a relaxed morning and breakfast at camp before transferring to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi, enjoying one last aerial glimpse of Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred for a day stay at an airport hotel, allowing you to rest, refresh, and unwind ahead of your international departure the following day.
If time permits, explore the vibrant Maasai Markets — a lively open-air marketplace where your bargaining skills will be put to the test. Browse an array of handmade treasures including curios, paintings, textiles in East African prints, jewelry, and beautifully carved wooden crafts, many created by local Kenyan artisans.
Day 6
Check out and Goodbyes
Snap some last pictures of your beautiful vacation in Kenya.
Say your goodbyes, check out, and await your private transfer back to the airport to take you back home.

You can travel whenever you choose! Just find the flight and the time of the year that works for you and we will make it happen. You can change your dates up until your accommodations have been confirmed as booked. After this, any changes may incur a fee.
Your international flight should arrive in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(IATA: DPS, ICAO: WADD) in Nairobi Kenya.
We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you’d need to fly into/out of to reach the destination.
Prices are based on double occupancy - This means you will be traveling with a friend or family. If you are traveling solo or if you would like to book a single room there is an additional one time fee of $450.

In Nairobi you will stay at The Social House, Nairobi & Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi and in Maasai Mara you will stay in Ilkeliani Camp Maasai Mara or similar depending on availability
Some key points
Important things to note
- You must have a passport to travel to Kenya – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page
- This itinerary features some long travel days, which can be exacerbated by bumpy African roads. It is recommended that you pay close attention to the given approximations of driving hours.
- As the early bird catches the worm, the early camper sights the animals. There will be many early starts either to make use of the better safari time or to beat the morning traffic on long travel days.
- Yellow fever: A valid international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required in many countries if you are arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever (eg. Kenya). You may need to present this on arrival at the airport or border crossing. Some countries will refuse entry if you are unable to present your certificate. It’s also quite common for your home country to request a Yellow Fever certificate on your arrival back home. It is your responsibility to check with your doctor well in advance of leaving home about the Yellow Fever requirements for the countries you’ll be visiting.
- It is best to avoid dark coloured clothes such as blue and black while on safari. These colours can attract the biting tsetse fly.
- You do not need any real fitness for this safari. However please note that, in some areas, the roads are in quite poor condition and you may experience a fair amount of bouncing around which can be strenuous.
- The rates are not valid during Easter and Festive Seasons. For travel dates during this period kindly reach out to florencia@luxetribes.com for updated rates.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
