We have curated the perfect New Year Celebration Getaway in Colombia with all of the highlights of the incredible city of Cartagena.

Day 1
Airport Pick up & Welcome Dinner
You will arrive at Cartagena Airport, where private transportation will take you to your accommodation. Take some time to relax and start enjoying ‘Cartagena, La Fantástica.’ In the evening, you’ll have a delicious dinner aboard a cruise or at a popular restaurant, with the opportunity to take in the stunning views of Cartagena’s bay by night.
Day 2
Choose Your Adventure & Salsa Class
After breakfast, you’ll embark on one of two incredible cultural experiences. Choose between a visit to San Basilio de Palenque—the first free Black town in the Americas—where you’ll explore its rich legacy of resistance, traditions, music, and dance; or an adventurous trip to the famous Totumo Mud Volcano, where you can enjoy a mineral-rich natural mud bath followed by a rinse in a nearby lagoon.
Both options include an authentic Colombian lunch and offer a unique glimpse into the region’s vibrant culture and natural beauty.
In the evening, we’ll come together for a lively salsa night out in Cartagena—the perfect way to end a day full of discovery and connection.
Day 3
City Tour & New Year’s Celebration
After breakfast, we’ll begin the day with a walking tour through Cartagena’s vibrant city center. Capture photos with the iconic Palenque locals, enjoy a casual photoshoot as we explore, and sample traditional bites along the way.
In the evening, get ready to ring in the New Year with a festive dinner celebration. Savor delicious cuisine and soak in the lively atmosphere before dancing the night away to welcome the New Year in style!”
Day 4
Relax & Recharge
After the excitement of the New Year’s Eve celebration, today is your chance to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved rest. Spend the day at your own pace—whether that means lounging by the pool, leisurely exploring more of Cartagena, or simply soaking in the local sights. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge before your next adventure!
Day 5
VIP Beach Club Experience & Chiva Bus Party
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a day of sun and sea. Pack your swimwear and a day bag as we head out for a VIP beach club experience. We’ll cruise along Cartagena’s coastline, where you can soak in the beauty of the Caribbean waters.
In the evening, join us for a festive farewell event—a lively Chiva bus tour. This unforgettable ride through the city is filled with music, dancing, and the vibrant spirit of Cartagena, making it the perfect way to end your trip before heading home the next day.
Day 6
Check Out & Goodbyes!
Your unforgettable Cartagena adventure comes to an end today. After breakfast, take a moment to soak in the final memories of your trip before checking out. We’ll arrange your transfer to the airport to ensure a smooth and stress-free departure. If you have a later flight, you’re welcome to leave your bags at the hotel and enjoy a bit more time exploring the city before heading to the airport.

Important things to note
- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the villa that best suits your taste.
- You must have a passport to travel to Colombia – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page.
- The best months to visit Cartagena are December through to September. The primary months to avoid would be October and November.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
