Day 1
Welcome to Zanzibar

Arrival at Zanzibar airport where you will meet your English-speaking guide waiting with a sign with your name. Private transfer to your luxury hotel. Check in.

Once you arrive, you can enjoy the luxurious facilities of the hotel. Tonight you will enjoy a welcome dinner with live dance performances and Maasai dancing.

Day 2
Full Zanzibar day experience

Today your driver & guide will meet you at the hotel for a spice tour where you will get time to see the spice plantation and get the spices ready for a cooking class. Zanzibar is known for its spices, so no trip to this East African island is complete without embarking on one of the famous spice tours. After the cooking class, you will take a boat to prison Island which was used by Arabians during the slavery period to block African slaves from escape before they were taken to western countries and Europe, also you can see and feed giant tortoises that now call the island home. Later, you will go back to Stone Town for a city tour to experience local culture and the market.

To end your day you can enjoy a sunset cruise followed by dinner at Emerson Hurumzi (optional, own expense), then you will head back to your hotel.

Day 3
Mnemba Island

Early morning breakfast will be served at your hotel. Thereafter you will hop on a private boat from Matemwe to dolphin spotting (Kombe) areas before heading to Mnemba Island for snorkeling and end the day at the sandbar where you will take pictures while enjoying drinks and seasonal fruits.

Seafood lunch will be served one of the best restarant at Matemwe. Return back to your hotel. Evening at Leisure.

Day 4
Nungwi

Early morning breakfast. Today you will have a full day northern tour Nungwi Beach including horse rinding for 60 minutes, Baraka turtle aquarium, Maasai World village visit and lunch at Nungwi (seafood, fruits and water).

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 5
Relax or explore on your own terms

Breakfast will be served at your hotel. You will have the day at leisure to enjoy your hotel facilities, walk by the beach, enjoy the exquisiute beach restaurants or shop for african souvenirs.

If your lucky, catch the full moon party that happens every month at Kendwa rocks.

Day 6
Say your goodbyes & Check out

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Zanzibar, with some free time to snap your last beautiful moments of your vacation before your flight. After check out, you’ll be transferred to the airport for final departure.

The payment towards your Zanzibar trip can be paid out monthly or in full. We provide flexible payment plans for all travelers, all payments must be completed no later than one month before your scheduled arrival date.

Prices are based on double occupancy – this means you will be sharing with your partner or with a friend. If you are traveling solo there is an additional one time single occupancy fee of $400 which can be paid up to 2 months before your trip.

Important things to note

  • We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
  • You must have a passport to travel to Tanzania – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page
  • The climate is tropical but varies greatly with altitude. Coastal areas and islands are hot and humid, while the central plateau is dry and arid. Tanzania can be visited all year round and its seasons can be defined as green and dry. The dry season is generally from June to October and January to February, with most days being fine and sunny weather with temperatures and humidity rising throughout the day.
  • A Yellow Fever vaccination and certificate is required when travelling to Tanzania. We strongly recommend protection against malaria, hepatitis A, tetanus, typhoid, polio and yellow fever. Please note you are required to produce a valid yellow fever certificate on arrival in Tanzania. Consult your travel clinic for latest advice on different prophylaxis available against malaria. Travellers may also wish to take immunisation against meningococcal meningitis. Please check the latest requirements with your travel clinic or doctor prior to departure.

If something goes wrong

Cancellation policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
  • If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
  • Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
