Day 1
Welcome to Zanzibar!
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative for a personalized meet and greet. From there, enjoy a private transfer to your beachfront resort, where you can check in and unwind after your journey.
Breathe in the refreshing ocean air, soak up the tropical surroundings, and enjoy the resort’s world-class facilities at your leisure as your island escape begins.
Day 2
Snorkelling Experience
Set off in the morning for a shared snorkelling excursion to the breathtaking Mnemba Atoll. Cruise across crystal-clear turquoise waters to one of Zanzibar’s most pristine marine sanctuaries, where you’ll snorkel among vibrant coral reefs and colorful tropical fish in an underwater paradise. During the journey, there is a seasonal chance to spot dolphins gliding through the waves, though sightings cannot be guaranteed. Light refreshments will be served before you return to the resort in the afternoon.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure — unwind on the powder-white beach, relax by the pool, or simply soak in the tranquil beauty of your island surroundings.
Day 3
Stone Town & Prison Island Exploration
Discover the rich heritage of Zanzibar on a guided historical tour of Stone Town. Wander through winding alleyways, admire intricately carved doors and historic buildings, explore vibrant local markets, and visit landmark sites while learning about the island’s fascinating Swahili and Arab influences.
Afterward, enjoy a scenic boat ride to Prison Island, home to the famous giant tortoise sanctuary. Take in the stunning coastal views, meet these remarkable creatures, and capture unforgettable photos before returning to the mainland.
Spend the afternoon at leisure — relax, unwind, and soak in the serene beauty of your island surroundings.
Day 4
Turtle Conservation & Cultural Tour
Enjoy a meaningful Turtle Conservation Experience, where you will learn about vital marine turtle protection efforts and observe these remarkable creatures up close under the guidance of conservation professionals. This responsible encounter offers a deeper appreciation for Zanzibar’s rich marine ecosystem.
Later, you will also enjoy one cultural experience of your choice: EITHER visit a Spice Village to discover Zanzibar’s world-famous spices and tropical fruits, OR explore Maasai World for an engaging cultural interaction and traditional heritage showcase.
Afterward, return to your resort and spend a relaxed evening at leisure, soaking in the peaceful rhythm of island life.
Day 5
Free Day & Lunch at The Box By Ashley
Ease into the day with a relaxed morning at leisure, enjoying the resort’s activities and tranquil island surroundings at your own pace.
Later, delight in an included lunch at The Box by Ashley, celebrated for its vibrant ambiance and flavorful cuisine — a true culinary highlight of your stay.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy — unwind, take a refreshing swim, or explore optional activities — before ending the day with breathtaking sunset moments along the beach.
Day 6
Check out and Goodbyes
Snap some last pictures of your beautiful vacation in Zanzibar.
Say your goodbyes, check out, and await your private transfer back to the airport to take you back home.

You can travel whenever you choose! Just find the flight and the time of the year that works for you and we will make it happen. You can change your dates up until your accommodations have been confirmed as booked. After this, any changes may incur a fee.
Your flight should arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport formerly known as Zanzibar International Airport (ZNZ).
We do not provide airfare as part of our package. This allows our travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you’d need to fly into/out of to reach the destination.
Prices are based on double occupancy - This means you will be traveling with a friend or family. If you are traveling solo or if you would like to book a single room there is an additional one time fee of $1300.

Important things to note
- We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
- You must have a passport to travel to Tanzania – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page
- The climate is tropical but varies greatly with altitude. Coastal areas and islands are hot and humid, while the central plateau is dry and arid. Tanzania can be visited all year round and its seasons can be defined as green and dry. The dry season is generally from June to October and January to February, with most days being fine and sunny weather with temperatures and humidity rising throughout the day.
- A Yellow Fever vaccination and certificate is required when travelling to Tanzania. We strongly recommend protection against malaria, hepatitis A, tetanus, typhoid, polio and yellow fever. Please note you are required to produce a valid yellow fever certificate on arrival in Tanzania. Consult your travel clinic for latest advice on different prophylaxis available against malaria. Travellers may also wish to take immunisation against meningococcal meningitis. Please check the latest requirements with your travel clinic or doctor prior to departure.
If something goes wrong
Cancellation policy
- All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
- If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
- Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.
